Urban Jubilee House Raising

Save the Kirkegaard House

For two decades the Kirkegaard House has had an open door. It has been a refuge after tornadoes, ice storms, and COVID. It has been a landing place for dozens of folks moving to Nashville, as well as those displaced by bad house renovations or transitional circumstances. It has been a place of rest for those who need to feel safe, valued, and seen, and to enjoy a good cup of coffee. It has even been the venue of choice for a good house concert, holiday dinner, wedding rehearsal dinner, or career launch party. A builder hired to renovate and expand the vision of the home destroyed it. The home that held so much is destroyed, and the family who lived with purpose to serve their community has lost everything. Now we are asking for community to help raise it back up, and THEM back up, together.
